- Habana reinforces ONTIER's commitment to sustainable growth and innovation and drives collaboration and creativity by putting people at the heart of the business.
The new ONTIER headquarters has a surface area of 4,356 m2, 4 floors, more than 800 m2 of surrounding garden and almost 600 m2 of penthouse garden.
The building, located in Madrid's business district, occupies an entire block in Paseo de la Habana connected to Castellana. A wraparound garden of 816m2, designed by the prestigious landscaping studio Fernando Martos, and a penthouse garden of 587.5m2, create a unique environment that overlays the building's modern architecture. In addition, there will be a seasonal garden giving access to the lobby and restaurant on the first floor and an auditorium with seating capacity for 150 people.
The closing of the 'Habana' operation before the completion of the building works has generated important synergies between ONTIER and ÁRIMA, allowing the project to be aligned with the needs and business model of the firm and maximising efficiencies. ONTIER also collaborated with the Álvarez-Sala -EAS- architecture studio in the design of spaces to promote a dynamic and collaborative work concept.
Pedro Rodero, Managing Partner of ONTIER Spain, says: 'With our move to the Habana building we want to match the growth and revitalise the excitement of the ONTIER work experience with a new way of sharing and thinking big with our teams, clients and collaborators.'
Highest standards of sustainability, wellbeing, and health
Sustainability at ONTIER is understood transversally and is at the heart of the design and construction of the Habana building, with the aim of making a positive impact on the social, economic, and environmental spheres. Together with the Construcía Group, pioneers in circular construction, ONTIER has implemented an innovative model of sustainable construction, positive for the ecosystem as well as for health and wellbeing.
The Habana building also has charging points in more than 25% of its parking spaces and is the only office building in Madrid with a Porcelanosa Krion façade, an active material that increases the health and safety of the space.
The air filtration, purification and monitoring systems integrated by ÁRIMA in the Habana building increase the quality of the air inside the building, making a direct impact on people's well-being.
In addition, the Habana building will be LEED® GOLD, WELL® GOLD and WELL® HEALTH & SAFETY certified, thus contributing to the growth of the market of sustainable, healthy and energy-efficient office buildings.
Immersive spaces to foster collaboration
The building represents a new office concept and transcends the traditional workspace to evolve towards collaborative environments. To this end, the project brings together open, bright and modular spaces distributed in four floors with socio-cultural areas, terraces and gardens.
